Frequently Asked Questions

What makes your granola so light and crispy?
We hear it all the time - your granola isn’t too hard to eat! We don’t have to soak it in yogurt first! The secret is we dehydrate it for 48 hours, and then we hand-crumble it into the perfect bite sizes. Now you know all our secrets!
Do your kids really eat it?
Yes! A million times yes. Our kiddos are full of The Granola Family granola, and they each have a favorite flavor. Sometimes it’s the easiest way to make sure they’re getting their daily dose of fiber, iron, and protein - not to mention all the other vitamins present in nuts, seeds, and coconut. We wanted to make something we would be feeding to our children regardless - now we get to share it with all of you, too!
Do you accept returns?
We don’t accept returns, but we are committed to making sure you’re happy with your purchase! Reach out to us at info@thegranolafamily.com if you have any questions or issues with your order, and we promise we will make it right.
How long will the granola last for?
If you haven’t opened the bag yet, it will last for at least 6 months (it will probably end up lasting even longer than that - we’ll update here with our final findings once available). Each bag is packed with an oxygen absorber and food-safe desiccant and then heat-sealed, making them shelf-stable without any chemical preservatives or other additives.
Once you’ve opened the bag, we recommend closing it between snacks (if you don’t finish the whole thing in one sitting). Granola prefers to be kept cool and dry for optimum crunch, but once the bag is open you can easily enjoy it for 2 weeks, if not longer.
How small is your small business, really?
Tiny! Just our family. We may grow in the future, but right now everything is hand-made and hand-packaged by us.
How do I request new flavors?
